Volunteer Visitors (not currently recruiting)

Helping people in the community access financial support.

Volunteer Visitors play a vital part in getting financial help to people who need it. They visit the homes of those applying for a Turn2us grant to provide face-to-face support and a review of their application.

Visitors are the face of Turn2us, supporting our Grants Team to reach more and more people and give them the help they need.

The Volunteer Visitor role is not currently recruiting, however we will be looking for new Visitors in the near future so do keep an eye on this page if you are interested.

Email us at: if you have any questions.

Visitor Volunteer Role

Visits take place in the homes of people receiving a Turn2us grant. These are never normally more than 30 miles from your home and if you live in London they are likely to be within your borough or the one neighbouring. How far you travel is up to you.

You will be able to schedule your own visits on a day that suits you. We ask that you arrange the visit between 9.00 am - 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday so that a Turn2us staff member can answer any questions or deal with any issues.

Time commitment

Visits take place once a year for each person, so it will depend on how many grant applicants you want to take on. Some Volunteers do a visit once per month while others may do 5 per year.

  • Meeting and talking to recipients of Turn2us grants
